Welding Torch Tools for Refrigeration Systems

A welding torch is a metal welding tool that generates high-temperature flames (over 2000°C) through the mixed combustion of combustible gases (such as acetylene and propane) and oxygen, used to melt base metals and welding rods for welding.

Core Structure: Comprises a handle, oxygen/gas regulating valves, a mixing chamber, and a nozzle. Flame types (neutral flame, carburizing flame, etc.) are controlled by adjusting gas ratios.

Classification and Applications:

Oxy-acetylene welding torch: High temperature (3100°C), suitable for welding copper pipes in refrigeration systems;

Oxy-propane welding torch: Lower temperature (2500°C), ideal for thin plates or low-melting-point metals.

Features: Portable, flexible, and cost-effective, commonly used for connecting pipes in air conditioners/refrigerators and repairing leaks.

Safety Notes: Avoid oil contact with oxygen cylinders. When igniting, open the gas valve first and then adjust the oxygen. Wear protective equipment.
